As with most cultic groups, UBF decides what events get to be written into their history. We are documenting the historical events here to give the public a more accurate account of the group and to counter-balance their self-aggrandizement. I am organizing the history according to a timeline, separated by country/region for clarity.

1955 - USA - Sarah Barry Mission Work

1961 - South Korea - Founding of UBF

1969 - Germany - First UBF Mission work

1976 - Korea - Crisis 1

1981 - Canada - Cult Watchers

1989 - USA - Crisis 2

2000 - USA - Crisis 3

2002 - USA - Death of Lee

2004 - USA - National Association of Evangelicals (NAE)

2010 - USA - Crisis 4

2011 - Korea - 50th Anniversary Celebration

2015 - USA - Appointment of Abraham T. Kim

2019 - USA - Appointment of Next General Director
