Any Bible student in UBF is called a sheep. This term is loosely and incorrectly derived from Bible passages. In the Bible, a sheep refers to all people, and Jesus is our Shepherd. But in UBF, a student is consdiered to be a sheep until he or she grows in UBF ways enought to be considered to become a [shepherd] or [shepherdess] (female shepherd). Sheep are guided to seek approval from their shepherd and to be obedient to their human shepherd if their conscience has a conflict.
